Cinnamon Graham Sundaes

These were the simplest thing, I hardly thought it was worth having a recipe for, but it sure was easy to do.  I also learned the simplest thing that I should have known - Graham crackers are honey flavored.  New revelation right - it only says so on the box, but after topping vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of honey and sprinkle of cinnamon, the ice cream is a new flavor - graham cracker.   I made this 2 ways - one with 1/2 of the graham cracker sprinkled on top, and the other with both graham crackers underneath.  The presentation is definitely better with the graham crackers underneath, but I thought it would be easier for the 4 year old to eat broken.  Of course the baby only got cinnamon on his ice cream.

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon graham crackers (1 whole per serving)
  • vanilla ice cream (1 scoop per serving - we like Blue bell or HEB home made vanilla - YUM)
  • honey
  • cinnamon
Directions
  1. Break graham cracker into 2 squares and layer on a plate.  Top with a scoop of ice cream.  Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon.
